Attorney David Chen of British Columbia, CAN; scamming loser

 

The Law Society of British Columbia provided David Chen with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia School of Law.

 

The Law Society of British Columbia found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

 

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 2-week suspension of his law license.

  • Engaged in professional misconduct
  • In relation to a family law matter involving his client, Davey made a representation to opposing counsel that was false or misleading
  • In relation to a family law matter involving his client, Davey drafted and commissioned an affidavit that contained representations that were false or misleading
  • misleading, contrary to rule 2.2-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British
  • Between August 2019 and January 2020, in relation to his client, Davey accepted $8,000 in retainer funds in cash from his client, and he refunded to his client $1,868.47 by check instead of in cash, contrary to Rules of the Law Society

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of British Columbia punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary 2-week suspension of his law license. 

 

As we speak (ca. December 2022), Davey practices his so-called brand of law with Avid Law Corporation at 5811 Cooney Road in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada.
