Attorney Donald McLeod of British Columbia, CAN; ethical gnome

The Law Society of British Columbia presented Donald Roy McLeod with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of British Columbia School of Law.

The British Columbia Law Society Disciplinary Counsel has charged Donnie with engaging in the following misconduct.

• Obtained committee ship order on client’s behalf without providing notice of the application hearing to opposing counsel
• Knew or ought to have known that opposing part was represented by counsel who intended to participate in application
• Failed to conduct himself in manner characterized by courtesy and good faith
• Engaged in sharp [dishonest] practice

All that remains now is to see what if any punishment is meted out to Donnie by the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Counsel.
