Attorney Josephine De Whytell Saskatchewan, CAN; lying loser

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Josephine Alicia De Whytell  with a law license in 2012 after she graduated from the University of Keele School of Law in England.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan Disciplinary Committee found Josephine guilty of the following misconduct.

  • In her role as a witness in the legal matter, failed to act with candor, honor, and integrity towards her fellow member
  • Failed to inform fellow attorney that her testimony at trial on material facts would be inconsistent with both the testimony that she had previously discussed with him and her prior written witness statement
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Intentionally provided false, misleading, or untrustworthy evidence to the Court

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Upper Law Society Committee punished Josephine by gifting her a complimentary reprimand.

Because Attorney Misfits in Canada are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Josephine was never criminally charged or prosecuted for perjury.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Josephine practices with the Semaganis Worme Law Firm at 23 Packham Avenue in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.
