Attorney Joseph Oledzki, Saskatchewan; ethical troll

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Joseph Stanley Oledzki with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Law School.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Allowed person to sign as witness to signature on legal document when said person never so acted
  • Caused a person to sign as a witness on a document purporting to be a Last Will and Testament of his client by making false representations to her
  • Misled members of the Law Society (Screw you, said Joey!)
  • Prepared Will for clients that left him $50,000
  • Prepared Codicil for client where client left him testamentary gift of the client’s oil, mines and mineral rights to certain land
  • Caused to be prepared a Transfer Authorization for his client wherein a transfer of mineral rights was given to Joey and members of his family
  • Prepared Last Will and Testament wherein his client was to leave a member of Joey’s family a substantial testamentary gift.
  • Attempted to imitate the signature of a witness on a Last Will and Testament of his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2013), Joey practices in Reginia, Saskatchewan, Canada.
