Attorney Larry Ayers of Alberta, CAN; thieving liar

The Law Society of Alberta presented Larry D. Ayers with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Alberta Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misappropriated (stole) trust funds
  • Failed to follow trust accounting rules
  • Failed to be candid with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Larry!)
  • Failed to provide clients with accounting of services provided to them
  • Failed to advise clients to seek independent legal advice
  • Failed to properly serve client
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Larry!)
  • Failed to comply with client’s instructions
  • Knowingly engaged in professional misconduct
  • Acted in manner bringing discredit to the legal profession (Oh, darn it!)
  • Failed to uphold the law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2018), Larry practices with LA Law at 215 McLeod Avenue in Spruce Grove, Alberta, Canada.
