Attorney Christopher Souster of Calgary, AB; ethical leprechaun

The Law Society of Alberta presented Christopher M.A. Souster with a law license in 1999.

The Disciplinary Board of the Law Society of Alberta found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Assisted client in pursuit of an improper purpose
• Failed to conscientiously serve his mortgage lender clients
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to obtain client consent to representing both the mortgage company and the buyer in the same transaction
• Signed documents as a witness to a client’s signature and swore to have witnessed the signature without even having been present to see the client sign or to witness the client take an oath
• Failed to properly supervise support staff

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Alberta Law Disciplinary Board punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Chris practices with the Riverside Law Office at 4108 Montgomery View NW in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
