Attorney Helen Florentis of Sudbury, CAN; slacker

The Law Society presented Helen Florentis with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Helen guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to advise client of outcome of legal matter
• Failed to take steps to set aside or vary court order
• Failed to respond to numerous client inquiries
• Failed to treat court with respect and courtesy

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society of Upper Canada punished Helen by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Helen practices with the Helen Florentis Law Office at 2-270 Elm Street in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
