The Law Society of Alberta presented Patrick Flynn with a law license in 2001

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide consent to Crown to proceed summarily without specific instructions from his client
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to advise client his trial date had been set

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society of Alberta punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
