Attorney Gerard Cassidy of Victoria, AUS; ethical misfit

Gerard William Cassidy was presented with a law license in 1984

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Gerard guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Engaged in a conflict of interest
  2. Failed to withdraw client representation when withdrawal mandatory
  3. Failed to comply with legislation requiring the provision of written info to clients
  4. Failed to act honestly and fairly in his client’s best interest
  5. Failed to advise client in writing of potential or actual conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal punished Gerard by gifting him with a public reprimand and a $2,500 fine.

As we speak (ca. February 2014), Gerard practices with Cassidy Morrison & Teare at 22 Main Street, Cobram, Victoria, Australia.
