Solicitor Paul James of Australia; cheating slacker

The Victoria Law Society presented Paul James with a law license in 2006.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in unsatisfactory professional conduct
• Engaged in undue delays in completing work for clients
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Failed to provide proper cost disclosures to clients
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Wrongly charged client for legal work despite client being approved to receive free legal aid
• Failed to refund trust moneys due to client (cheater)
• Made unjustified threat to sue client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Solicitor Misfits sitting on the Administrative Council punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand plus a $10,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. March 2017), Paulie practices with Robert Bax & Associates at 751-753 Sandgate Road in Clayfield, Queensland, Australia.
