Texas Gov. Greg Abbott: Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Greg. In the past, he has been the recipient of six (6) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
It should be noted that Greg has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past twenty-eight (28) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Austin area was about to offer Greg a good paying job.
On January 10, 2020, Greg the Bigot announced that Texas will not accept any new refugees in fiscal year 2020 after fellow bigot Donald “Trumporleone” Trump signed an executive order allowing governors to opt out of doing so.
Texas is the first and only state to date to opt out of accepting new refugees under the policy. Over 30 governors from both parties already said as of last month that they will continue accepting new refugees. (Tal Axelrod)
It goes without saying if new refugees seeking to come to Texas were heterosexual whites from England, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark or some other European county, Greg the Bigot would welcome them with open arms. However, since the white population in Texas continues to dwindle and minorities now constitute the majority, Greg and his fellow bigots are hellbent on preventing any refugees of color from entering Texas. And lastly, if things go well for Greg and his fellow Bigots in Texas it won’t be long before they will be required to speak Spanish as a requirement to seek elected office.
