State Rep. Todd Courser: Today’s “Public Official Misfit” Award Winner

In November 2013, Todd duped the voters in the Lapeer, Michigan area into electing him as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Todd laughingly claims to be a dedicated family man who abhors the idea of marriage equality. He has consistently run his hypocritical mouth as a dyed-in-the-wool supporter of “traditional marriage.” In fact, he’s laughingly claimed that marriage equality will be the death knell for the sanctity of traditional marriages.

While spewing forth his homophobic rants, it has been discovered that Todd the professed family man was actually bedding down with Cindy Gamrat, a fellow state legislature despite the fact that they were both married.

According to interview with former House employees and recordings between Todd and Cindy, the used their taxpayer-funded offices to maintain and cover up their adulterous affair.

Shortly before the Supreme Court’s marriage equality ruling, Todd the Hypocrite said:

  • “I will say that I grieve for our nation as we take one step after another to deny the deity of God and who He is.”
  • “As we step further and further away from Him and His Holy word we lose His protection for ourselves, our families, our communities, our states and of course our Nation.”

Obviously, Todd has total contempt for the 7th commandment which says, “You shall not commit adultery.” He also displayed total scorn for the 10th commandment which says, Thou shall no covert thy neighbors wife.”

Apparently Todd utilized the Politician’s Bible for Hypocrites which states:

  • Adultery is acceptable if one is sure he/she won’t get caught
  • Screwing thy neighbor’s wife is okay if she’s better looking than your wife

It seems to me that Mr. Courser would be well served if he took a refresher course on the meaning of the 7th and 10th Commandments.

As we speak (ca. August 2015), Todd remains sitting as a Michigan State Representative.
