Attorney Theodore Abrams of Tucson, AZ; perverted loser

The state of Arizona presented Theodore C. Abrams with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Arizona School of Law.

The Arizona State Bar found Teddy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct, all of which took place during his tenure as a Tucson City Court Magistrate.

  • Engaged in sexual harassment of several female attorneys
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Victims of misconduct were vulnerable
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Began an intimate sexual relationship with attorney A
  • Repeatedly pursued sexual relationship with Attorney B who persistently rebuffed his advances
  • Initially made lewd comments and “slurping noises” to Attorney B.
  • On one occasion, groped Attorney B under a table at which they were sitting with others after work
  • Over 12 months, left Attorney B at least twenty-eight voicemail messages and sent her at least eighty-five text messages, many of which included sexual innuendos or explicit sexual content
  • At least three voicemail messages contained references to cases in which Attorney B had appeared before Teddy
  • Left Attorney B a voicemail message wherein he described a sexual act he wanted to perform on her
  • Asked Attorney B to come to his chambers to pick up some paperwork, and while there asked Attorney B if she had received the voicemail message and asked to take her to a friend's condominium for sex
  • Inappropriately touched Attorney B and called her later in the day to repeat the foul-mouthed message

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Teddy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Because Judicial Misfits in Arizona are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Teddy was never criminally charged with sexual harassment or assault.

As we speak (ca. March 2019) Teddy is employed as a Yuma County Public Defender in Tucson, Arizona.
