Judge Ruth Neely of Pinedale, WY; bigoted loser

The state of North Carolina presented Thomas D. Schroeder with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the Notre Dame University Law School.

The Wyoming Commission on Judicial Conduct and Ethics has found Ruth guilty of the following misconduct.

Shortly after a federal judge ruled that Wyoming’s ban on same-sex marriage was unconstitutional, Ruth the Bigot proudly announced that she would refuse to perform said marriages. In fact, Ruth told a reporter for the Pinedale Roundup:

  • “When law and religion conflict, choices have to be make.”

Apparently, Ruth doesn’t believe that she is bound to abide by the oath of office she took wherein she swore to uphold the U.S. and Wyoming Constitutions and to follow the rulings of higher courts such as the Wyoming Supreme Court and more importantly the U.S. Supreme Court.

When given a chance by the Wyoming Judicial Commission to comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling on marriage equality in order to retain her judicial positions as a Pinedale Municipal Court judge and circuit court magistrate. As one would suspect when dealing with a dyed-in-the-wool bigot, Ruth refused the offer.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Wyoming Supreme Court removed Ruth from her judicial positions and prohibited her from ever seeking or holding another judicial position in Wyoming for the balance of her miserable life.

As we speak (ca. May 2016) it is rumored that Ruth has applied for a job as a greeter at the Walmart store in Pinedale, Wyoming.
