Attorney Albert Armonda of Burlington, WI; repeat offender

The state of Wisconsin presented Albert J. Armonda with a law license in 1962 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in Chicago.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation (OLR) found Albert guilty of the following misconduct

  1. Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
  2. Failed to cooperate with ethics investigation (Up Yours, said Albert!)
  3. Charged an unreasonable fee in a bankruptcy matter
  4. Failed to accurately disclose required information in divorce case
  5. Failed to fully disclose fees received to bankruptcy court as required

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Albert’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 60-day suspension for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Albert by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license..

As we speak (ca. February 2014) Albert practices at 6281 Hillcrest Terrace in Burlington, Wisconsin.
