Attorney Michael Mack of Brookfield, WI; scammer and perjurer

The state of Wisconsin presented Michael G. Mack with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Marquette University School of Law.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Mikey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly made a false statement to a tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to provide promised information to Trustee in his personal Chapter 13 filing
  • Failed to appear at court-scheduled creditors’ meeting
  • When Trustee moved to dismiss Mikey’s Chapter 13 filing, he filed application to convert the filing to a Chapter 7 petition
  • Disclosures in his bankruptcy petition and associated schedules were false, misleading, and inaccurate
  • Failed to list sale of the 1961 Austin Healey in his amended Statement of Financial Affairs
  • Failed to disclose that his parents had loaned him $25,000 and that he deposited the funds into an undisclosed back account that Mikey owned
  • Failed to disclose that he owned interests in other business entities and had other bank accounts besides those disclosed in his schedules
  • Failed to disclose the closure of multiple bank accounts owned by him and his spouse prior to filing for bankruptcy
  • In his Amended Statement of Financial Affairs, stated that his income for one year from employment or operation of business was $25,000; however, his draft tax returns provided to the Trustee showed gross receipts of $219,926
  • In Schedule I of his Petition, Mikey stated his business income was $1,500, when copies of bank statements obtained by the Trustee show that he and his spouse were charging approximately $4,600 a month in personal expenses and personal business draws from the various Mack-owned bank accounts
  • Mikey also failed to disclose in his Petition or Schedules B and C ownership in a variety of other entities he and his wife owned at time of filing
  • Mikey signed a declaration that, “I declare under penalty of perjury that I have read the answers contained in the foregoing statement of financial affairs and any attachments thereto and that they are true and correct”
  • Mikey’s sworn declaration was false [perjury] as the Petition and schedules he filed contained false, misleading, and inaccurate information

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Mikey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Because Attorney Misfits in Wisconsin are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Mikey was never criminally charged with perjury or bankruptcy fraud.

As we speak (ca. April 2019), Mikey practices with the Faith Law Firm at 2505 North 124th Street in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
