Attorney Frank Medina of Madison, WI; ethical troll

The state of Wisconsin presented Frank Medina with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Frankie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in eight (8) counts of misconduct
  • Failed to provide client with required representation notices
  • Failed to provide client with accounting of claimed fees upon termination
  • Failed to perform all representation objectives listed in the fee agreement
  • Failed to refund any portion of client’s advance fee payments
  • Failed to hold advance fee in trust account
  • Failed to contact client after first meeting
  • Failed to advance client’s interests
  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Frankie!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2018), Frankie practices with the Medina Law Office SC at 111 West Wilson Street in Madison Wisconsin.
