Attorney William Green of Milwaukee; slacker, moron

The state of Wisconsin presented William H. Green with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to file complete and accurate documents
• Failed to hold the advanced fees in trust
• In a chapter 13 bankruptcy, Billy failed to redact the Social Security number of the principal, so the petition had to be restricted from public
• Failed to follow the clerk’s instructions on correcting bankruptcy filing
• Bankruptcy court issued of order to show cause by the court for Billy explain his conduct and justify his fee
• Failed to the order to show cause

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Billy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Billy practices with the Will Green Law Offices at 1126 South 70th Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
