The state of Washington presented Ronald F. Chin with a law license in 1979 after he graduated Gonzaga University School of Law.
The Washington State Bar found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Ronnie!)

Failed to make reasonable efforts to ensure that the person's conduct is compatible with the professional obligations of the lawyer

Failed to assure that all funds of a client paid to him be deposited into an identifiable interest-bearing trust account

Commingled client funds with personal funds

Failed to maintain complete records of all funds, securities, and other properties of a client

Failed to render appropriate accounts regarding client funds

Failed to maintain a checkbook register for his trust account

Failed to maintain individual client ledgers for clients who had funds in his trust account

Failed to maintain a record of trust account activity
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
