Attorney David Saliba of Wytheville, VA; serial tax cheat

The state of Virginia presented David Samir Saliba with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to timely file personal income tax returns for eight (8) consecutive years
• Failed to pay state payroll tax liabilities for five (5) consecutive years
• Failed to pay $47,000 in federal withholding taxes, social security and Medicare taxes for three employees of his law firm
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
