Attorney Brian Telfair of Richmond, VA; ethical goblin

The state of Virginia presented Brian Kraig Telfair with a law license in 1990after he graduated from William & Mary University School of Law.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

• Attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Committed a criminal or deliberately wrongful act that reflected adversely on his honesty, trustworthiness or fitness to practice law
• Engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
