Attorney Jeremy Huang of Fairfax, VA; moronic slacker

The DC Bar presented Jeremy C. Huang with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from University of Virginia Law School.

The DC Bar Counsel found Jeremy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to take reasonable steps to protect client interests after termination
• Failed to provide client with written fee agreement
• Failed explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Jeremy by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.
