Attorney David McCormick of Lightfoot, VA; slacker

The state of Virginia presented David Michael McCormick with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Regent University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to terminate or decline representation when required
• Failed to notify clients when leaving law firm
• Failed to keep clients informed of status of matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2017), Dave practices in Lightfoot, Virginia.
