Attorney Kenneth Mergenthal of Fredericksburg, VA; ethical gremlin

The state of Virginia presented Kenneth Paul Mergenthal with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Richmond Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Kenny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Kenny failed to advise a court-appointed client that the Court of Appeals had denied his appeal of a criminal conviction and to appeal the conviction to the Supreme Court of Virginia.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Kenny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2017), Kenny practices at 806 Princess Anne Street in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
