Attorney David Sunshine of Richmond, VT; lying loser

The state of Vermont presented David M. Sunshine with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the Washington College of Law.

The Vermont Bar Court found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected two different client cases
• Deceived one client by failing to tell him his case had been dismissed
• Gross negligence led to dismissal of client’s claims
• Failed to provide competent representation
• Lied to client that his case would soon be going to trial

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2014) Dave practices with the Law Offices of David M. Sunshine at 26 Bridge Street in Richmond, Vermont.
