The State of Vermont presented Sigismund Wysolmerski C. Robert Manby Jr. with a law license in 198o after he graduated from the Vermont School of Law.

The Vermont Bar Court found Sigismund guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to disclose material information in the course of a court proceeding

  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Acted with a dishonest motive with his notarization of affidavits filed in a lawsuit and in omitting from his motion for default judgment material information

  • Knowingly failed to perform promised services on behalf of his client
  • Failure to communicate with client led to client loser right to appeal
