Attorney Phyllis McCoy-Jacien of Poultney, VT; tax scofflaw

The state of Vermont presented Katherine Zachary Pope with a law license in 1989 after she graduated from the University of Vermont Law School.

The Vermont Professional Responsibility Board found Phyllis guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file Vermont income tax return for 4 consecutive years
• Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Vermont Supreme Court punished Phyllis by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. August 2017), Phyllis practices at 226 Main Street in Poultney, Vermont.
