The state of Vermont presented Robert Cummings with a law license in 1960.

The Vermont Professional Responsibility Board found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to protect client interests
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Knowingly engaged in deceiving his client
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Demonstrated selfish motive

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Vermont Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
