Attorney Franklin Brussow of Salt Lake City; ethical misfit

The state of Utah presented Franklin R. Brussow with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Cleveland State University Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme Court found Franklin guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Failed to properly decline or terminate representation when required
  • Failed to completely account for his fees
  • Violated or attempted to violate disciplinary rule or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
  • Failed to maintain adequate billing records

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Franklin by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2014) Franklin practices at 8785 South Grand Oak Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah.
