Attorney Larry N. Long of Salt Lake City; ethically deprived loser

In the recent past, the Utah State Bar filed misconduct charges against Larry, which included some of the following:
  • Engaging in the unauthorized practice of law
  • Allowing non-lawyer assistant to engage in the practice of law
  • Abandoning client by failing to appear at multiple hearings
  • Engaging in an obvious conflict of interest
  • Failing to provide competent representation to client (moron)
When Larry’s client (ak, victim) complained about his treatment, Larry attempted to have the matter mediated with Larry’s non-attorney assistant representing the client and Larry representing himself. Only a certified moron and ethical leper-con would attempt to escape liability for screwing his client in this manner.

The Bar also found Larry the Loser guilty of allowing his non-lawyer assistant to appear in court, contact opposing parties and conduct mediation proceedings at Larry’s office.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah State Bar punished Larry the Loser by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

On his self-serving website at www.llonglawyer.com, Larry doesn’t warn his prospective victims that he was found guilty of misconduct in the past. Maybe it wouldn’t be fair to limit Larry’s future victim pool by making him disclose this fact, right?

As we speak (March 2012) Larry practices law at 343 South 400 East Street in Salt Lake City.
