Attorney Douglas Terry of St. George, UT; moronic loser

The State of Utah presented Douglas D. Terry with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Brigham Young University Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to serve complaint on defendant
  • Failed to respond to discovery requests
  • Lack of diligence led to client’s case being dismissed with prejudice (forever precluded from filing again)
  • Failed to compensate client for errors he made in her case

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Doug practices with Douglas D. Terry & Associates PC at 132 West Tabernacle in St. George, Utah.
