Attorney Stony Olson of Moroni, UT; thieving loser

The State of Utah presented Stony V. Olson with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Brigham Young University Law School.

The Ethics and Discipline Committee of the Utah Supreme found Stony guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to advise client in writing basis for his fee
  • Failed to inform client he had not filed objection on his behalf in bankruptcy action
  • Failed to return unearned fees (thief)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Utah Supreme Court punished Stony by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Stony practices at 192 North Center in Moroni, Utah.
