Attorney Paul Alexander of Dallas; repeat offender

The state of Texas presented Paul R. Alexander with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law College.

The 157th District Court of Harris County (Houston) found Paul guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Paul was hired to represent a client in a bankruptcy matter. However, he failed to timely notify the client of a court scheduled creditor’s meeting, causing the client not to be able to attend the hearing.

As a result of the client’s non-attendance at the hearing, the bankruptcy judge dismissed his case with prejudice. After the dismissal, Paul agreed to reinstate the client’s petition for bankruptcy but he failed to do so.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Paul’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously recived complimentary stayed suspensions for engaging in a variety of misconduct on two separate occasions.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Paul continues to practice law at 2156 Brookfield Avenue in Dallas, Texas.
