Attorney Douglas Clark, Jr. of Santo, TX; unethical cheater

The state of Texas presented Douglas Clark, Jr. with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from the University of Houston Law School.

A panel of the District 14 Grievance Committee found Douglas guilty of the following misconduct in regards to his representation of a client (victim) regarding a Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and in obtaining an occupational license.
  1. Neglected the legal matters entrusted to him
  2. Failed to refund unearned fees (crook)
  3. Failed to file response to ethics complaint (Up Yours, said Douglas!)
As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Douglas by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1- year suspension of his law license.

Douglas was also ordered to make restitution of $2,500 to the client he misrepresented in regards to the DWI matter.

As we speak (ca. December 2012) Douglas will begin practicing again in the Santo, Texas area beginning on or about July 1, 2013.
