Attorney David Akpan of Houston, TX; cheating loser

The state of Iowa presented David Ebong Akpan with a law license in 2010 after he graduated from Texas Southern University School of Law. 

Disciplinary Counsel found Davey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to deposit client funds into a trust account
• Failed to refund advance payments of fee that had not been earned (cheater)
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to Communicate the basis for his fee to his client within a reasonable time after commending the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Davey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2021), Davey practices his brand of law at 2308 Blodgett Street in Houston, Texas.
