The state of Texas presented Peter Michael Zavaletta with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Texas School of Law.

The 152^nd Civil District Court found Jackie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Jackie threatened to present disciplinary charges against a fellow attorney for the sole purpose of gaining an advantage in a pending civil matter.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jackie by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 4-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jackie.
