Attorney Patrick Stolmeier of San Antonio; lying loser

The state of Texas presented Patrick John Stolmeier with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The 225th District Court of Bexar County found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in egregious conflict of interest
  • Failed to appear at hearing on client’s behalf despite being paid $30,000 advance fee
  • Failed to advise client of scheduled court hearing
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Failure to appear at hearing resulted in material harm to client
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Failed to explain the matters to the extent necessary to permit his clients to make informed decisions regarding the representation
  • Failed to provide client with full accounting of claimed fees
  • Made false statements of fact to ethics investigators (Up yours, said Patty!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As speak (ca. April 2018), Patty practices with Stolmeier Law at 219 East Craig Place in San Antonio, Texas.
