Attorney Jesus Vargas of San Antonio; ethical elf

The state of Texas presented Jesus Vargas with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

The District 10-B Grievance Committee found Jesus guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to explain meaning of take-nothing judgment and its impact on her case
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to explain the matters to the extent necessary to permit his clients to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Jesus by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Jesus practices with the Law Office of Jesus Vargas at 800 Dolorosa in San Antonio, Texas.
