Attorney Todd Smith of Bedford, TX; ethical gremlin

The state of Texas provided Todd Alan Smith with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law College. 

The Texas Ethics Commission found Todd guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to disclose name of all persons contribution over $50
• Failed to disclose vendor payees for 13 political expenditures
• Failed to provide name of person or persons traveling outside Texas
• Failed to disclose occupations and employers of contributions exceeding $500
• Failed to disclose campaign treasurer’s phone number on 5 finance reports

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Public Official Misfits at the Texas Ethics Commission punished Todd by gifting him with a complimentary $700 fine.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Todd practices law with the Todd Smith Law Firm at 1608 Airport Freeway in Bedford, Texas.
