Attorney Raymond Albertson of Fort Worth; ethical misfit

The state of Texas presented Raymond B. Albertson with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from St. Mary’s University Law School.

The District Grievance Committee found Ray guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to exlain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decision regarding the representation
  • Failed to pay attorney occupation tax
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Ray by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Texas Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Ray.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Ray practices with the Law Offices of Raymond B. Albertson PC at 3774 West Sixth Street in Fort Worth, Texas.
