Attorney Jere Albright of Humboldt, TN; ethical dwarf

The state of Tennessee provided Jere Baxter Albright with a law license in 1961 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Jere guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Refused to communicate with interested parties
  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to inform client her case had been dismissed
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Jere!)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jere’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct, some of which was similar to the above referenced misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Jere by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Jere practices at 209 North Fourteenth Avenue in Humboldt, Tennessee.
