Tennessee's 2012 Attorney Ivory Soap Purity Rating

The textbox at the end of this article sets forth the number of attorneys that were disciplined in Tennessee from 2006 through 2011 and then provides the Ivory Soap Purity Rating for each year.

The Tennessee Supreme Court would have us believe that out of a population of 16,000 lawyers they could only find 6 that deserved to be disbarred in 2008, which equates to one out of 2,667. Such a claim doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test.

Ivory soap claims to have a purity rating (ISP) of 99.44%. Therefore, it is plainly clear that attorneys in Tennessee are equal to the purity rating of Ivory Soap. Is that like cool or what?

How lucky are the citizens of the Volunteer state to be blessed with a Legal Industry that is as pure as the driven snow?
