Attorney Charles Friddell Jr. of Nashville; lying loser

The state of Tennessee provided Charles James Friddell Jr. with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in egregious conflict of interest by representing buyer, seller and lender in real estate transaction
  • Failed to obtain written consent of clients to engage in conflict of interest
  • Failed to be truthful (lied) in statements to others
  • Improperly served as intermediary between several clients
  • Violated or attempted to violate rules of professional conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Charlie practices at 4335 Harding Pike in Nashville, Tennessee.
