The state of South Carolina presented David B. Marvel with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Tulane University School of Law.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Davey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to pay annual $110 attorney license fee (deadbeat)
