Attorney Ernest Hamilton of Greenville, SC; ethical gremlin

The State of South Carolina presented Ernest Hamilton with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Ernie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate in writing basis for legal fee
• Engaged in conduct tending to pollute the administration of justice
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Ernie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Ernie practices in Greenville, South Carolina.
