Attorney Christopher Barrier of Greenville, SC; ethical gremlin

The State of South Carolina presented Christopher H. Barrier with a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Washington & Lee University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

• Allowed closing documents to be returned -unsigned by second witness without proper notary
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary 2-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Chris practices in Greenville, South Carolina.
