Attorney Richard Fisher of Newport, RI; scamming loser

The State of Rhode Island  presented Richard M. Fisher with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the Western New England University School of Law.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Failed to follow the appropriate course of conduct legal services to his clients
  • Engaged in a persistent pattern of signing the name of the President of the NBC Board of Directors to the foreclosure deeds and acting as the notary witness to that signature
  • Caused falsely executed documents to be recorded
  • Falsely notarized property deeds
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
  • Knowingly made a false statement of material fact or law to a third person

As a direct consequence of his egregious misconduct, enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Rhode Island Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2019), Dick practices with Macioci & Fisher at 130 Touro Street in Newport, Rhode Island.
