The state of Massachusetts presented Robert Francis Creasia with a law license in 1993.

 

The Board of Bar Overseers found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Bobby’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

 

In one matter, Bobby found it acceptable to violate the rules by borrowing money from a client.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Bobby by gifting him with another complimentary admonishment.

 

Bobby’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to petition bankruptcy court for authority to charge additional fees in excess of $2,500 per fee agreement
  • Client later paid Bobby $19,961 for bankruptcy work
  • Charged and collected excessive fee

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Bobby by gifting him with another complimentary reprimand.

 

Bobby’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Knowingly made false statements in bankruptcy proceeding
  • Failed to obtain bankruptcy court authority to transfer property deed
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in reckless conduct involving bankruptcy proceedings
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Sanctioned $5,000 by bankruptcy judge and ordered to disgorge fees/costs
  • Failed to pay $5,000 sanction and disgorge fees as ordered by court
  • Failed repeated requests to pay court reporter fees
  • Court reporter sues in small claims court and obtains $261.45 judgment
  • Failed to appear in court as order causing arrest warrant to be issued
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Bobby!)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. November 2015) Bobby practices at 18 Loggers Run in West Warwick, Rhode Island.
