Attorney John McTiernan of Pittsburgh; apologist for Attorney Misfits

The state of Pennsylvania presented John McTiernan with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from Duquesne University Law School.

In one matter, Johnny decided to act as an advocate for a crooked attorney James Steiner of Washington, Pennsylvania. Steiner was convicted of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. A story regarding Steiner the Convict can be viewed by going to the URL listed at the end of this article.

When Steiner applied to have his law license reinstated, Johnny gave the following laughable testimony in support of his application.

  • Holds him to the highest esteem [Isn't that special?]
  • Would not hesitate to refer clients to him [future victim pool]

Subsequently, the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court voted to reinstate Steiner the Convict’s law license.

We should all be grateful to Johnny for putting forth the effort to assure that the good folks in Pennsylvania are subjected to having yet another convict running amuck with a law license. Thanks a lot Johnny!

Now we know and fully understand why the good folks in Pennsylvania are contemptuous of the so-called system wherein Attorney Misfits are actually held accountable for their misconduct.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Johnny practices with Caroselli Beachler McTierman & Coleman LLC at 20 Stanwix Street in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
