Attorney Gary Babcock of Salem, OR; ethical dwarf

The State of Oregon presented Gary Babcock with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Williamette University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Joey guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to deposit the $3,000.00 retainer he received from his client into attorney trust account
• Failed to provide an appropriate accounting of the $3,000.00 he received from his client
• Failed to provide financial records during the Bar’s investigation (Screw you, said Gary!)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Gary appeared to be unaware of what he had done was wrong

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2022), Gary practices his so-called brand of law at 4160 Commercial Street SE in Salem, Oregon.
